ELA and math are two of the most important subjects in school. Not only are they important for their own sake, but because they are core subjects, better performance in ELA and math translates to better performance in other subjects as well. So here, at Top Tutoring NYC, we specialize only in ELA and math. We specialize in high impact tutoring (no more than 4 students), using a strategy focused, Next Generation aligned program, that equips students with the skills and strategies they need to boost their ELA and Math performance. We also offer a common core curriculum for schools that use the common core.
Utilizing proving strategies and pedagogical methods, including the Science of Reading, our certified literacy tutors guide K-5 students as they develop into top readers with sharp skills in reading comprehension, writing, grammar, spelling, and phonics.
Our middle school ELA program prepares students to excel in reading comprehension, critical thinking, and writing. This program also equips students with the knowledge and skills to excel on class and standardized exams.
Our High School ELA program equips high schoolers with a versatile set of skills in reading comprehension, critical thinking, and writing. Students also develop valuable skills to help them excel on standardized exams such as the PSAT, SAT Verbal, and the ELA regents.
Students in our elementary math program develop solid foundational skills in a wide variety of concepts including arithmetic, fractions, geometry, word problems, measurements, and number operations
Students in our middle school program develop solid skills in advanced arithmetic, algebra, functions, geometry, equations, and expressions.
